Description
The Nursing Center for Caring Arts (NCCA) got its name from our theoretical framework of the Caring
Model
of Nursing. Within this context, nursing is the delivery of professional
caring which involves therapeutic communication, assessment, planning,
interventions, and evaluation of nursing care. Thus, the NCCA is a
training ground, a setting for thoughtful study and reflection, as well
as a gathering place for nursing students. In addition, it is here that
students learn, practice and refine skills before
they arrive at the bedside in the clinical practica.
Rules
1. No eating, drinking, or smoking in the NCCA.
2. Equipment, books, and supplies may not be taken out of the lab unless approved by the NCCA Director

3. General Reference Books may not be taken out of the NCCA.
